JR Mortgage Hometown Hero Program

If you are purchasing your loan through JR Mortgage Group, you may be eligible for our Hometown Hero program. What is our Hometown Hero program?

At JR Mortgage, we are thankful for all the individuals who serve our community and country and wanted to find a way to give back to them which is why we created the Hometown Hero Program. With the Hometown Hero program, we will write a $500 “Thank You” check, outside of closing, to those who qualify for our Hometown Hero program.

Who qualifies?

To qualify for the JR Mortgage Group Hometown Hero program, applicants must meet certain criteria. There are many different types of career paths that meet the criteria for our Hometown Hero Program:

• Educator
• Health Care Professional
• Active Military Personnel
• Veterans
• First Responder

To be eligible, you must have full-time employment in any of the above categories.

How do I receive the $500?

To receive the Hometown Hero program benefit, interested individuals must first complete their loan through a loan officer at JR Mortgage and ensure your loan officer knows during the loan process you are a Hometown Hero. There will be one $500 check written per transaction, so if you are purchasing a single loan, and you and your co-borrower are both eligible for the Hometown Hero Program, only one $500 check will be issued for that transaction. You can use this program as many times as you would like as long as you remain eligible for it on each individual real state purchase you close with JR Mortgage group.

The Hometown hero program is completely separate from the transaction and will not appear on your loan documents. It is written and mailed out to you within a month of your closing.
